Reflection 3: Case-Study: Ethics, Equity and Technology

Reflection Prompt: Reflect on what you plan to do to address the equity and ethics issues when applying technologies. You may share with us about what you have been doing by addressing these aspects and what you will change after learning in this module.

As I went through my readings with this module, I see that we do not just use any material coming from anywhere, it is right to cite where do we get those and who own those materials. The risk of connecting our practice in technology is that we are forgetting some issues that arrives from it. It is right and just that we not merely just use any material that can be get in the world wide web for our teaching strategy we also have to take responsibility in giving credits for our sources which is SOP in terms of referencing. Group work and cooperation during class discussion have so much impact in terms of the learning of each students. We educators are not only task to impart knowledge but also to teach our students how's life outside. Aside from that, we should be more aware and sensitive to the fact that we are not dealing with only one personality inside the classroom but a lot of personality. We must engage every single personality during our discussion inside the circle of learning for us to reach our objective of giving learning and opportunity for all. Base from this, even though there are lot of benefits that we can get from incorporating technology in our life as educator, we must be careful and be sure for every action we take. I see myself now as a developing modern educator for the future! I enjoying my stay in course and I learn a lot of things regarding technology as a great tool in education.
